I love this cute program very well and thanks a lot for your hard work to continue to improve it. However, I found a great problem when I wanted to search and replace Chinese characters. The bug is a little odd. But it really exists. I think this issue is due to the improper handling with the double-byte characters such as Chinese. I hope you can be aware of it and try to solve it. Thanks in advance!

Currently win32pad does NOT support double-byte (Unicode) characters. I need time and testing to add this feature to my current code.

It's on my todo list, but there are still some things that I consider higher priority than this.

Has the behaviour for empty modified unnamed files been fixed in future versions? So that when you just use Win32Pad for some notes and close it so that it would not as to save. Or that users could chose this behaviour from options.

This feature if added would be rather dangerous, since you could lose ALL your changes. I just don't want to receive flame e-mails because somebody lost their work because of this feature request.

I did read the message. I guess I missed the "empty modified file" part.

Ok, I have reworked my File save related code and added the code not to prompt if the file is new and empty.

P.S. I am going to lock this thread as this is going off-topic and the discussion should move to the latest released version.
