Click-able links in Help-About are working.

The "Execute" button is causing - dare I say - Notepad to open.

Find defaults to any highlighted text.  New, or did I just not notice it before?

It opens the associated program. In your case notepad.

Ok.

Then - & this is just food for thought - being able to assign the function (application) associated with the "Execute" button.

That way, forinstance, if I associate win32pad with the Execute button, it will open with win32pad - regardless of what my systems (registry) association is assigned to.

Again, just food for thought & probably not worth doing.

Win98:

Everything is looking good.  Tabs, COL/LN.

Strange.  Help-About is not clickable.  Perhaps has to do with the particular version of riched20.dll (5.30.22.2300).  It did work under Win2K.

A couple of new things popped up with this version, btw, thanks for giving me credit on your posting.

- the change from "%1" to "%l" actually HAS to be capital L not lowercase, this is now broken on my XP build

- the command for "Edit With Win32Pad" HAS to include the full path unless you're modifiying the users ENV path variable, etc. and that also has to have a capital L for the file parameter.

Another key note, with adding "Edit With Win32Pad" to the "*" key, you might want to post that anyone that using the Microsoft Shortcut/Launch Toolbar (believe it or not some users still use it), will have a problem with launching their apps and should disable this feature or discontinue using the Toolbar.  My app "MR Tech Systray" has a similar feature and I do remember running into this even before I had added this to my program.

Thanks again for a great program and I look forward to getting more and more updates.

Help->About has nothing to do with richedit control. I will investigate.

EDIT: Ok, I found the problem. It was "Support" groupbox that will be removed in the next release.

Hi!
When I click on F5 in win32pad I get american time and date stamp.
Eg 9:40 AM 9/9/2003
But when I click on F5 in notepad I get swedish format.
Eg 09:40 2003-09-09
I would like it to be the same as system date format or to be able to choose the format that win32pad uses in the option window.

Thanks for a great program!

Ok, I found the problem. Was using default/global system locale... It shall be fixed in the next release.
