Currently investigating for next release:
- Try to add some simple syntax highlighting. (Have some ideas already)
- Try to add highlighting for e-mail addresses.

:D  Very Very Very Impressive. Thank you kindly. Well Done. I've been using Sam Spade but let me see... Sam Spade at >1.38Mb+ or Win32Whois at 27kb? And what's more is that Win32Whois gives me more information than Sam Spade. Hmmm....   Bye Bye Sam.

Sincere Appreciation. Thanks.

Abuse information is only working for .com  .net and .org
In short, non usa sites, the abuse information will not work. (those domains with country codes appended.)

Eg. www.yahoo.co.uk
     www.yahoo.com.sg
     www.news.com.au

I understand that it is due to the abuse.net database do not support such information. One suggestion is to capture the "email" field in the information gathered, and present it to the user as *POSSIBLE* abuse email address.

Keep up the good work !!   :)

Hmm.. I will try and see if I can find more resources related to abuse information reporting. If somebody knows of this information then please post it here and I will try to add it to the next version.

I have to see about the e-mail address detection...

Did a search on google, looks like there is none other than abuse.net. Found a list of abuse email address for korea, hope this helps.

http://ip.nic.or.kr/english/notice.html

Small suggestion. Mabbe add links to the menu, on the following?
1) how to report spam
2) How to read the traceroute info....
3) Tracing tools etc. (eg. http://combat.uxn.com/tracing.html   )

This could be pointing to a link page on your site....easier for you to maintain and update.

Could you also look into decoding of  obfuscated URLs ?

Thanx !!  :)

Ok, here is just a quick post showing my current development status:

+ Added highlighting of E-mail addresses. (Somehow this is a big ugly, but I got it to work)

Currently investigating:
+ Fixed the domain detection code (the code that looks for the top level domain based on the entered hostname)
o Need to add trimming of the entered hostname
o Need to add simple parsing of URLs
o Bah.... MS Windows sockets suck, DNS lookups are a pain at least for the stuff that I need (getting CNAME records for a domain). This seems like the best way to figure out the actual domain name from the entered host. I am currently implementing a DNS client code of my own to do this, shouldn't be that complicated, but still a bunch of work.
